Description

The Savage is a versatile, full suspension, 27.5-inch wheel diameter RodArs electric mountain bike designed to cater to a wide range of interests. Starting with a 24-speed base design, built around a strong and sporty 6061 hydroformed aluminum frame, with handlebars, adjustable stem between -10 and 40 degrees Truvativ and Suntour XCM front suspension with 120 millimeters of travel and lockout. Bikelec offers you the possibility to customize aspects such as the location and power of the motor, the battery capacity, the type of suspension, the characteristics of the onboard computer, the braking system, and others.

The electrical system of the Savage electric mountain bike - in any of its alternatives - is operated by the PAS (Pedal Assist System) sensor, with different characteristics depending on the chosen motor. The standard model is equipped with an 8FUN intelligent brushless rear motor (brushless), with a rated power of 250 Watts and a maximum power of 612 Watts, capable of delivering 45 Newton meters of torque. With it we have assistance up to 25 kilometers per hour, whose rational use we select from 5 levels through the LCD digital display on the handlebars, which includes kilometer counter functions, allows us to configure the electric system, has the Walking mode button to move up to 6km/h without pedaling and we can even limit the maximum speed, very useful for limiting more powerful motors to 25km/h when we ride on public roads.

Power for the system is supplied by an 11.2 Ampere-hour Samsung Li-ion cell battery, which is sufficient for a worry-free ride of between 50 and 70 kilometers, depending on the use of assistance and other factors. In the center of the frame where the battery is located, we have the possibility to mount a battery of up to 21ah with 36v and up to 17.5ah with 48volts.

Optionally it can be equipped with an 8FUN rear motor, rated at 500 watts and 800 watts of maximum power, with a thrust of 80 Newton meters. For those who prefer the stability and more natural pedaling sensation provided by the mid-motor, four variants are also available from the same manufacturer - any of which includes a digital display with 9-speed and throttle control - in a power rating range from 250 to 1000 watts, capable of producing between 80 and 160 Newton meters of torque at the top end of the range. A real privilege to tackle our complicated mountain routes without hesitation.

Range enthusiasts can choose batteries with an energy capacity of between 11.2 and 21 Ampere hours depending on the selected motor power.

If for reasons beyond one's control or because they wish to make pedaling a mere appearance by moving the pedals in a testimonial way and relaxing while being driven by the engine, they will order the installation of a throttle, which is very useful for starting off or moving in complicated situations (in any case, its use on public roads is not permitted).

The 24 gears offered by the Shimano Acera gear system allow for a smoother ride, with no jerky shifting from one gear ratio to the next. Shimano Acera components are characterized by durability and smooth, fast, effortless shifting, while the display on the handlebars allows the rider to see which gear is engaged at a glance.

To complete the comfort on our rural adventures or sportier challenges in the electric mountain bike category, the Suntour XCM front suspension is complemented by the K-Speed rear shock, and the possibility of replacing the latter with a lockout SR Suntour Epixon, which greatly increases the smoothness and feel of the ride.

The Savage rolls with grip and protection on 27.5-inch diameter by 2.3-inch wide Kenda tires mounted on tough double-wall aluminum rims with copper-reinforced steel spokes.

Shimano M375 mechanical disc brakes on both wheels are fitted as standard on this "Wild" electric bike, although it can be optionally fitted with Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which is convenient when choosing the more powerful motor versions and in order to get the maximum performance out of an electric mountain bike.

Spanniga's high-powered front and rear LED lights add versatility to this electric mountain bike's use in urban traffic or on conventional roads. In addition, there are also available luggage racks to carry our purchases or instruments: rear seat post with a capacity of up to 10 kilograms, and the same location up to 25kg, the latter with a built-in light to increase our safety in traffic.
