R.X1000 Pro - L (Showroom Bike - 369Km - as New)
Rotwild R.X1000 Pro - The pioneer
It is the symbiosis of Pinion's innovative Motor-Gearbox-Unit (MGU), with a modern all-mountain geometry, and optimized weight distribution that makes the R.X1000 an all-mountain enthusiast's dream. That's what the "X" in the ROTWILD name represents. It accompanies you, meter by meter, above the tree line - where it gets "rocky", where the rock prevails over vegetation, where you need reliable power and security. Always keeping an eye on the summit cross.
The MGU combines the motor and gearbox, positioned low at the bike's bottom bracket, lowering its center of gravity. Official name? E.1.12. It consistently supports you with energy from a battery that effectively holds 960 watt-hours, providing you with ample power. With 85 Newton-meters of torque and 12 gears, you deliver this power to the trail. Precisely and smoothly, because the R.X1000 shifts electronically.
By merging the drive and motor, the R.X1000 eliminates the need for a derailleur and cassette, dramatically reducing weight in the rear. There, the mass is unsprung, and every gram less in motion counts for more agility in the suspension. The result is a sensitive suspension that can react directly to obstacles and impacts. Using Mullet tires allows us to work with a shorter chainstay. In size L, it measures 445 mm long. We have interconnected both chainstays with high stiffness to the front frame triangle. We call it the Open Bridge Triangle. Thus, we don't need a connecting bridge between the stays, creating more free space for the rear wheel. It moves a good bit forward, and the entire rear end becomes shorter. This ensures high maneuverability, allowing you to make quick turns downhill. Going uphill, you need grip. The R.X1000's suspension provides excellent traction when you pedal. It absorbs your force and stays glued to the ground, keeping you stable and helping you climb higher.

High Modulus Carbon
The frame of the R.X1000 is made from high-modulus full carbon fiber. The material is highly durable yet very malleable, all while maintaining a lighter weight. It is handcrafted and assembled from over 1,000 individual pieces. The entire wiring runs through the downtube into the motor housing for a clean appearance and enhanced riding safety.
Integrated Power Unit (IPU) - Motor and Gearbox
E1.12 - that's the name of Pinion's innovative Motor Gearbox Unit (MGU). It combines the gearbox and motor into one unit. The design offers 12 gears in spur gear configuration with three consecutively engaged gear sets. It enables electronic shifting, controlled by sensitive sensors: when starting on a hill, while standing, with minimal interruption of power. Pinion calls it SMART.SHIFT. Using Start Select, you can engage the pre-selected gear while at a standstill. With Pre Select, you set your cadence. The MGU is low-maintenance and protected by a magnesium housing. The motor delivers torque of up to 90 Nm, peaks at 600 W, and has four operating modes.
Integrated Power Unit (IPU) - Battery
The battery is from the product world of the Swiss manufacturer FIT. It has an effective capacity of 960 Wh. With a battery weight of 4.7 kg, that equates to 204 Wh of effective energy per kilogram. It integrates into the downtube with a slight bulge downward, which is due to the arrangement of the energy cells. This allows us to allocate the necessary space for the high performance of the battery. You can remove it and charge it from an external power source. You can securely lock it in the downtube with an ABUS lock. The battery integrates into the unified and expandable system with various displays and connectivity to the FIT app.
Mullet concept
The R.X1000 adopts the Mullet concept: a 29" wheel rolls in the front, while it's smaller at 27.5" in the rear. The Mullet concept showcases its strengths in downhill riding. The larger front wheel enhances roll-over performance, while the smaller rear wheel provides excellent grip and increased agility. Additionally, we reduce the rear frame space, allowing us to use a shorter chainstay. In size L, it measures 445 mm. Thus, the All-Mountain bike is a skillful fusion of stability and safety on one hand and agility and grip on the other, ensuring you conquer every trail.
Innovative kinematics for altitude
The kinematics are designed to support you uncompromisingly in the steepest terrain. Without a cassette and rear derailleur, the rear suspension is lighter. Less unsprung mass makes the suspension significantly more agile and sensitive to the trail's characteristics. A significant portion of the mass is centrally located at the bottom bracket with the MGU. By arranging the pivot points in the rear suspension, we ensure the ideal center of gravity and generate the necessary traction to keep the rear wheel continuously on the ground. If you pedal unevenly in steep sections, the motor compensates for it. The tension on the chain remains constant and virtually pulls the rear suspension into the ground.
All Mountain specifications
In the front, you'll be equipped with a FOX 36 Factory Fit-4 suspension fork with 150 mm of travel. A FOX Float X Factory shock completes the suspension system
Geometry
A Fox 36 suspension fork with 170 mm travel is used in the front. Enough suspension travel to take on thick roots, rough stones and blocked passages with a lot of confidence. The flat steering angle of 64.5° provides safety at high speeds through traction and control.
Singlespeed chain
A robust and wide single chain transmits power from the MGU to the rear wheel. In our mountain bike tradition, we consciously emphasize the sportiness of a chain. A chain tensioner keeps it taut during the suspension compression. We intentionally placed it at the rear to preserve ground clearance in the front chainring area. Because the chainline remains consistent, we can reduce wear significantly compared to a conventional chain.
