The synergy between the brand-new Motor Gearbox Unit (MGU) from Pinion, a versatile geometry that covers many scenarios, and optimal weight distribution makes the R.C1000 a capable cross over. That's what the "C" in ROTWILD's name stands for. This bike is at home almost anywhere your daily life takes you: to work, for shopping, as well as for an evening ride or an extended family tour on weekends. But maybe we're understating it. Because if we take a closer look: the C.1000 can do more than just everyday paths. No matter where: the MGU combines the motor and gearbox and is centrally positioned in the bike, deep at the bottom bracket. Officially named? E.1.12. It consistently supports you with energy from a battery that provides an effective 960 watt-hours of enormous power. With 85 Newton-meters of torque and a wide range of 12 gears, you bring this power to the trail. Very smoothly, because the R.C1000 shifts electronically. By uniting the drive and motor, the bike doesn't require a derailleur or cassette. Shifting a significant portion of the unsprung mass to the center saves weight in the rear, providing the necessary space to flexibly carry luggage using the standard carrier system. Full carbon frame
The full carbon frame of the R.C1000 provides the bike with a high level of stability and stiffness. The low top tube design and the positioning of the suspension elements contribute to an optimal sense of safety, good maneuverability, and a low center of gravity. It is handcrafted and assembled from over 1,000 individual pieces. The entire wiring runs through the downtube and through the motor housing for a clean appearance and enhanced riding safety.
The chassis
The DT Swiss Suspension components provide you with 140 mm of travel. Perfect for conquering various types of terrain: roads, forest trails, and even rough paths. The balanced geometry ensures an integrated riding position. This provides you with the necessary control over the bike while maintaining high comfort during your ride.
MGU E1.12
MGU stands for Motor Gearbox Unit, an innovation by Pinion. E1 is the name of the motor. 12 denotes the number of gears. They are housed in three consecutively linked gear sets with helical gearing. The MGU enables electronic shifting, controlled by sensitive sensors. Pinion calls it SMART.SHIFT. Shift when starting on an incline, while stationary, with minimal interruption to power flow. Choose a gear in advance or set your cadence. The MGU is low-maintenance because all moving parts are protected from external influences and impacts in a magnesium housing. Performance data: torque of up to 85 Nm, peak power of 600 W, four riding modes.
FIT battery with 960 Wh
The battery comes from the product world of the Swiss manufacturer FIT. It provides an effective 960 Wh. It integrates seamlessly into the downtube. You can remove it and charge it from an external power source. Secure the battery cell in the downtube using an ABUS lock. The battery is part of the unified and expandable system with various displays and connectivity to the FIT app.
Lighting system by Supernova
The Supernova M99 Mini Pro High Beam lamp integrated into the cockpit ensures safety through visibility. Its counterpart is the Supernova TL3 Pro LED Tail Light integrated into our unique carbon carrier system in the rear suspension. You brake, and the taillight signals it to your surroundings.
Luggage pick-up system
The R.C1000 comes standard with an innovative luggage attachment system. Using removable mounts, you can attach various types of bags to the bike, allowing you to carry the things you need in your daily life. Additionally, you prevent your clothing from getting dirty with fenders that integrate into the rear mounting system.
Suspension fork from DT Swiss
The F535 combines a coil spring with an air system, providing a sensitive suspension travel right from the initial compression. It continues smoothly with flexible and comfortable counterpressure throughout the entire progression. Additionally, the suspension fork is equipped with mounting points for bags.
DT Swiss damper
The R535 shock absorber horizontally absorbs the movements of the suspension. Its large negative air chamber also ensures a very sensitive response while maintaining a linear characteristic.
Singlespeed Chain
In our mountain biking tradition, we consciously emphasize the sportiness of a wide and robust single chain. It transfers the power from the MGU to the rear wheel. All it needs for this cycle is a small chain tensioner at the rear. This saves space under the motor housing and prevents damage. Because the chainline remains constant, we can significantly reduce wear compared to a conventional chain.
