In spite of the demolishing appearance that usually accompanies the thick tires, the Road Fat is a coquettish 24-inch Radars electric urban bike, ideal for urban journeys, which thanks to the versatility of its fat bike tires allows us to ride on any type of terrain, complicated roads, mud, snow, sand, all within reach at the touch of a pedal.

The geometry of the frame has been designed to promote the comfort of use thanks to its open frame - with a 5-year warranty - as well as the comfort during the ride ensured by the wide tread of more than 10 centimeters of its tires. The discreet and intelligent color combination adds to the cheerful character of the bike's image - a motif that will attract a lot of attention - as well as the fact that it is equipped with excellent performance for our daily urban journeys, as well as escapes in more adverse environments. 

The electric assistance system is operated from the digital LCD display where we can view valuable route data, switch between the five levels of assistance, which can be extended to nine, control the lighting system, and various functions such as limiting the maximum speed via a pin code or making use of the legal throttle that propels us up to 6 km/h. 

The electric system is powered by an 8FUN rear motor with 250 Watts of rated power and 45 Newton meters of torque to reach top speed in an instant. Supplied by an 11.2 Amp Samsung Li-ion battery, perfectly integrated and protected in the diagonal tube of the frame, with no visual impact, capable of delivering a range of between 50 and 65 kilometers. The Road Fat will be back to 100% power level after 4.5-5.5 hours of recharging on the supplied smart charger.

If you want to make long and frequent journeys quickly, and avoid getting to your destination sweaty, there are two motor options available from the same company with more power, a rear one with 500 Watts of nominal power and 80 Newton meters of torque, and a central one with 1000 Watts and 160 Newton meters, with which our Road Fat will become a real gazelle in the urban jungle. Range fanatics can choose between batteries with a capacity from 11 to 24 Amps - depending on the selected motor type. All electrical systems come with a two-year warranty.

When riding on the streets the rider can maintain a comfortable upright back position thanks to the adjustable aluminum handlebars and stem. At the same time, a Prom ax suspension in the Seatpost adds cushioning to the comfort of riding on thick tires over potholes or cobblestones. Rounding out the safety in city traffic are powerful LED lights front and rear, as well as metal mudguards on both wheels. If you need to transport personal belongings, there are two optional luggage rack variants: a rear rack on the seat post with a capacity of up to 10 kilograms and a rear rack in the same location for up to 25 kilograms with a built-in light that can also be operated from the display.

On the climbs, or to regulate speed in changing city traffic conditions, onboard the Road Fat the rider has 8 gears provided by the Shimano Acera system. The rational use of these switches allows the rider to move at their usual pedaling pace, always finding the right gear.

The Road fat electric city bike has MT200 or Shimano M375 hydraulic brakes with 180 and 160-millimeter diameter discs on the front and rear wheels respectively. If you customize it into a gazelle capable of moving at high speeds, or if you simply prefer more responsive and progressive braking, a hydraulic braking system is an answer.

Although it may seem like an urban e-bike at first glance, thanks to its robust frame, great wheels, Acara gears, hydraulic brakes, and the option of RST front suspension, the RoadFat can easily cover any mountain route you can throw at it.
