Rotwild R.R275 X Ultra - The fast beauty for any terrain

With the R.R275 X, we deliberately emphasize performance. It is our DNA to combine technical innovation with sporting ambition and perfected aesthetics. The bike catches the eye. In the ULTRA equipment variant, this may also be due to the aerodynamic five-spoke wheels from XENTIS. When the climbs come or the rough terrain under your tires robs you of traction, the power from the TQ motor HPR50 with up to 50 Nm of torque supports you. Our control software regulates the energy output from the battery so sensitively that you can extract optimal performance from the effective 250 watt-hours of capacity. For the special climbs, the intermediate sprints, or the quick acceleration out of the corner, we have developed the Boost Button. With one press, the motor releases a maximum of 300 watts of extra power - for the moment or up to a maximum of 30 seconds.

When the longing for more takes hold of you, you simply turn off the main road. Add another lap. The fusion of road and mountain bike geometries, combined with efficient shifting performance and gravel-specific tires, carries you over any terrain. With the R.R275 X ULTRA, you reliably shift wirelessly with SRAM Force AXS. Darkness can't take away your riding pleasure. In a unique approach, we have integrated a lighting solution into the stem in cooperation with Supernova. The new Supernova Starstream provides optimal illumination with low and high beams, ensuring high safety on the trail. The powerful Mini TL3 rear light makes you highly visible from behind. When you dismount from the bike and let your gaze wander over the R.R275 X, you will realize: with the R.R275 X, you have made your statement on gravel riding.

New design language

New design language

With the design of the R.R275 X, we have implemented a radical concept, working together with the design studio ARTEFAKT. We have translated the high functionality of the bike, the integration of electronic components, and a strong focus on athleticism into a clear design. All of this without any compromise on performance. The battery, motor, and display seamlessly blend into the frame, with the top tube and stem merging in a straight line. The enclosed taillight integrated into the frame marks the end of this visual line. This elongated appearance emphasizes strong dynamism, and the color segmentation underscores the design DNA and the core concept of top tube integration.

Boost Button

Boost Button

You can early identify the points on the road where your personal challenge lies. With the Boost Button, you get an extra dose of power. The button is almost invisible, integrated into the left side of the handlebars. You intuitively press it to receive up to 300 watts of extra power for up to 30 seconds. Specially developed software for the bike regulates the motor control. It maintains the perfect balance between your physical effort and the support from the bike. Choose one of the three assistance levels on the display seamlessly integrated into the top tube. Then simply stay on course. That's all you need.

Supernova light system

Supernova light system

We use the Starstream by Supernova. The manufacturer designed this light exclusively for integration into the stem of a bike. The low beam shines with 550 lumens. A newly developed lens ensures glare-free illumination. You can adjust the beam distance using an adjustment mechanism. Activate your high beam with the smoothly integrated push button on the right side of the handlebar. It illuminates the dark path ahead with 1,000 lumens. A sensor in the display measures the ambient brightness and automatically turns the headlight on and off accordingly. The TL3 Mini taillight of the R.R275 X distinctly completes the top tube.

Integrated stem

Integrated stem

By integrating the stem into the frame shape, we create a seamless connection between the steering and top tube. Two shells make up the stem. The lower one is directly connected to the head tube with a special ROTWILD aluminum shaping. We route the complete wiring for controls such as the Boost Button, brake, or high beam, as well as the cables for the display and control unit, through the stem and invisibly into the downtube of the frame. The upper shell secures the entire stem and serves as an interface for the wiring of the integrated Supernova light. With a taller lower shell, the entire stem can be raised by 2 centimeters.

IPU275 (Integrated Power Unit) - Motor

IPU275 (Integrated Power Unit) - Motor

The TQ HPR50 motor, together with the battery and the Boost Button, embodies the concept of eAssist. The focus is on your own effort. The motor provides constant and subtle assistance. HPR stands for Harmonic Pin Ring gearbox. The absence of conventional gears and belts saves weight and allows for a compact motor design around the bottom bracket. By combining gentle support and lightweight construction, you maintain a natural riding feel even beyond the 25 km/h assistance limit. The HPR 50 provides you with up to a maximum of 50 Nm of torque and weighs only 1,850 grams. There are three levels of assistance available, which you can fine-tune using the TQ app.

IPU27 (Integrated Power Unit) - Battery

IPU27 (Integrated Power Unit) - Battery

With an effective 250 watt-hours of energy, the battery provides you with all you need to continually extend your personal range with the R.R275 X. It seamlessly integrates into the slim downtube of the eGravel bike. Modern 21700-type cells allow for a lightweight and compact design. The intelligent energy storage system precisely delivers the predetermined amount of energy to the motor, effectively extending the battery's capacity. This enables pinpoint power assistance for different riding situations, optimized to provide you with maximum efficiency. The battery is ultra-lightweight at 1,400 grams.

XENTIS High X-Monocoque

XENTIS High X-Monocoque

In the R.R275 X ULTRA, we opt for an aerodynamic five-spoke wheelset from XENTIS. The wheels are entirely made of carbon and are handcrafted in Austria. The 3K surface finish exhibits a very fine pattern. 2K matte lacquer protects the carbon surface and the wheel's decor from UV radiation. The design of the edges and ribs provides high stiffness and a very dynamic appearance. The front fork hub width is 12-100 mm, and for the rear, it's 12-142 mm. The 28-inch wheels have a diameter of 622 mm and an internal width of 25 mm. The rim height is 35 mm, ensuring high tire stability and smooth riding.

SRAM Force AXS-gear shift

SRAM Force AXS-gear shift

Shifting wirelessly with the electronic Sram Force on the R.R275X ULTRA: It transmits your shift impulses from the handlebars to the receiver in the XPLR rear derailleur, ensuring a responsive and consistently high shifting performance. Sram refers to the connectivity of electronic components with corresponding software solutions as AXS. You can fine-tune the details using the app. Shifting up and down is done intuitively using the buttons on both sides of the handlebars, which are integrated into the ergonomic brake levers. The cassette features 12 sprockets with a capacity of 10-44 teeth, and the derailleur's cage damping prevents chain slap.

Race-oriented geometry

Race-oriented geometry

Your posture on an eGravel bike clearly depends on the riding situation you find yourself in: streamlined for minimizing air resistance during descents or more upright to demonstrate agility on twisty terrain. The geometry of the R.R275 X sets the framework for these body positions. We have opted for a race-oriented approach, featuring a short head tube with greater saddle height, promoting an aerodynamic riding position on the bike. The tire clearance of the R.R275 X is 50 mm.
